Panax Ginseng Extract

Panax ginseng — Korean/Asian ginseng root extract standardised for ginsenoside content, supplied for energy and vitality formulations.

5–20% ginsenosides 200–400mg trade dose ref. COA per batch
Overview

A globally recognised root, standardised across the grades buyers actually ask for.

Panax ginseng is one of the most extensively researched adaptogens in the world, and the ginsenoside percentage is the standard marker of potency. The trade spec spans a wide range — from a 5% standard grade suited to value-tier formulations, up to 20% higher-grade material for buyers positioning a premium SKU. We supply at 5% ginsenosides as standard, with higher grades available on request.

White ginseng — dried raw root — is supplied as standard. Red ginseng, produced by steaming and heat-processing the root, is available on request for buyers targeting a different profile. Every batch carries a certificate of analysis confirming ginsenoside content by HPLC. See Quality Assurance for the full testing process.

Where this extract typically gets used.

Energy & vitality formulas

The primary use case — often paired with B-vitamins or other adaptogens in general energy-support and vitality stacks.

Premium positioning grades

Higher-ginsenoside material (up to 20%) suits premium-positioned SKUs; the standard 5% grade suits value-tier formulations at the same trade dose reference.

Sourcing & ethics

Where it comes from, and how we hold that to a standard.

Trade buyers increasingly need to answer sourcing questions themselves — here's what we can tell you about this specific ingredient.

GMP-certified processing

Grown and processed at a GMP-certified facility in South Korea, audited on our own schedule rather than taken on trust from a spec sheet — see Quality Assurance.

Established growing regions

Sourced from regions with generations of dedicated ginseng cultivation, rather than opportunistic growing on land with no track record for the crop.

Long-term supplier relationships

We work with established processing partners on an ongoing basis rather than opportunistic spot-buying, which supports both batch-to-batch consistency and supply continuity.

Batch traceability

Every batch is traceable back to its processing facility and grade — ask if you need this documented for your own supply-chain due diligence.

Common questions

Panax Ginseng, answered.

White ginseng (dried raw root) is supplied as standard. Red ginseng — produced by steaming and heat-processing the root, which changes the ginsenoside profile — is available on request. Ask when you enquire and we'll confirm pricing and lead time.

Panax ginseng is genuinely traded across a wide grade range in practice, from value-tier 5% extract through to 20% material for premium-positioned products. We supply 5% as standard and can source higher-grade material on request — tell us your target positioning and we'll recommend the right grade.

By HPLC, per batch. The certificate of analysis shows the tested ginsenoside percentage for the specific batch and grade you're buying.

It follows the standard Starter tier from 1–10kg/month — see Wholesale & Trade Accounts for the full tier structure.

See the Safety & Risk Information above for known considerations, particularly around blood glucose and anticoagulant medication. This isn't medical advice — consumer-facing products should carry appropriate guidance to consult a healthcare professional.
